The subsequent years saw Gwarzo’s influence expand within Kano State as he was appointed as the Executive Chairman of the Gwarzo Local Government Area in 1997, a role that he would effectively fulfill until 2007. During his tenure, Gwarzo’s strategic leadership was instrumental in fostering the growth and development of the local government area.
